Meet our Physiotherapist Kunho Kong

Kunho Kong
Kunho graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the Australian Catholic University, North Sydney, in 2020. Since then, he has gained valuable experience working in clinics, with sports teams, and in community services across New South Wales and Victoria.
In 2024, Kunho moved to Perth and completed a Master of Clinical Physiotherapy at Curtin University, specialising in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.
Kunho’s philosophy in physiotherapy is: “Listen and learn from the patient.” He understands that pain is unique to each person. He listens closely to their stories and explains the causes in clear, simple terms. His patient-focused approach ensures treatments are effective, personalised, and tailored to each individual’s needs and preferences.
Kunho uses hands-on treatments like joint mobilisation, manipulation, dry needling, and soft tissue massage. He also incorporates and prescribes exercises to improve tissue resiliency and strength through progressive loading. In addition, he is a registered GLA:D physiotherapist (specialising in osteoarthritis) and a certified Steel physiotherapist (focused on male cancer rehabilitation).
Outside of work, Kunho enjoys exploring the stunning natural landscapes of Western Australia, appreciating the balance and calmness that nature brings to his life.
